DRESS REHEARSAL
Dress Rehearsal is a film inspired by Amanda Gorman, who, in 2017, was named the first National Youth Poet Laureate of the United States. By 2021, she became the youngest poet to recite her poem “The Hill We Climb” at a presidential inauguration.


As we celebrate Black celebrities and cultural icons, it is equally important to recognize all of the creative contributions of Black workers behind the screen in production.
The creative industry is a growing economy. Increased representation of Black folks holding creative jobs is essential in combating socioeconomic inequality and segregation within the entertainment industry.

A Mother's Letter is a photography series that aims to bring visibility to the experiences of black mothers to build community. This series showcases the story of Sophia Said, a young black woman's journey with pregnancy as she reflects on her choice to become a mother and the experiences that followed.
