"The River ወንዙ" film pays homage to culture and the experiences of women through the lens of Ethiopia and draws inspiration from Herrana's childhood home, Kebena. The film not only celebrate the art of beauty but will also highlight the systemic barriers women face in the context of forced marriage, education, and water access.

This series showcases the story of Sophia Said, a young black woman's journey with pregnancy as she reflects on her choice to become a mother and the experiences that followed.
